Transport management software for Indian transporters
Logiintra TMS runs a transport company from booking to payment: digital lorry receipts, trips, fuel vouchers, driver salary, vehicle maintenance, GPS tracking, GST invoices and e-Way Bills. It began in 2016 as FleetPush, a fleet management product, and today is part of a logistics ERP used by 300+ companies.
Where transport companies lose money without a TMS
Many roadlines and trucking companies in India still run on LR books, a trip register, a diesel diary and an accounting package. The leaks are rarely dramatic. They are small amounts lost on every trip, and transport management software closes them.
LRs written twice
The lorry receipt is written at booking, copied into the register and typed again for the freight bill. Each copy is a chance to get the weight, rate or consignee wrong.
Trip settlements drag on
Advances, diesel, tolls and loading charges sit on slips with the driver. Settling a trip days later means disputes and amounts nobody can verify.
Freight not billed on time
When the bill is raised from a separate file, delivered trips wait for billing and some charges, such as detention, are never billed at all.
No real view of each truck
Without trip-wise income and expenses, you cannot tell which vehicle, route or customer actually makes money.
e-Way Bill slips
An expired e-Way Bill or a vehicle number not updated in Part B can hold a truck on the road. Tracking this by phone does not scale.
Maintenance on memory
Servicing, tyres and document renewals are remembered by one person. When that person is on leave, a vehicle goes out overdue.
Transport management software features in Logiintra
Digital LR / builty
Create the lorry receipt once at booking. Consignor, consignee, goods, weight, freight and vehicle carry into the trip, the bill and reports.
Trips and trip settlement
Plan the trip, record advances and expenses as they happen, and settle it from those entries with trip-wise profit shown against freight.
Fuel vouchers
Issue and record fuel vouchers against the vehicle and trip, so diesel cost is part of the trip, not a separate diary.
Driver salary
Process driver salary alongside trip records, so advances and settlements already in the system are part of the calculation.
Maintenance scheduling
Schedule vehicle maintenance so servicing is planned by the system instead of remembered by one person.
GPS tracking and route planning
See vehicles in real time and plan routes. Customers can see their own consignments and documents on the customer portal.
Billing uses Logiintra's built-in GST invoicing, e-Way Bill generation and TDS/TCS handling, and AI document reading picks up invoices and delivery orders that arrive by email.
From booking to payment in one record
Book and issue the LR
Take the booking, assign vehicle and driver, and generate the digital LR and the e-Way Bill details for the movement.
Run the trip
Advances, fuel vouchers and expenses are entered against the trip while the truck is on the road, with GPS showing where it is.
Deliver and settle
On delivery the trip is settled from the recorded entries, so there is nothing to reconstruct from slips.
Bill and collect
The GST freight bill is raised from the LR and trip, receivables are tracked, and trip-wise profit appears in reports.
Checklist: choosing transport management software in India
Use this list when you compare TMS options for a trucking or roadlines business. Ask each vendor to show you the answer with one of your real trips.
- LR to bill without re-typing. The freight bill should come from the LR and trip, not from a separate entry.
- Trip settlement from recorded entries. Advances, fuel and expenses captured during the trip, not collected afterwards.
- Own fleet and hired vehicles. Many transporters run both. Check that hired-vehicle trips, broker payments and your own trucks can be tracked properly.
- e-Way Bill support. Generation from the invoice or trip, and a clear view of validity so vehicles are not stopped with an expired bill.
- GST, TDS and multi-GSTIN. Transport billing has its own GST treatment. Your accountant should be comfortable with how invoices and TDS are handled.
- Driver salary and maintenance in the same system. Otherwise these stay in separate registers.
- GPS and a customer view. Tracking that your customers can see reduces calls to your office.
- Branches. If you book from several cities, each branch should work on the same live data.
- Setup and training. Ask who will set up vehicles, routes, rates and parties, and who trains the booking clerks.
